Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). With this coup attempt, Apc will lose track again for another 2 years or more

The recent coup attempt has set the Apc back for another two years. Anytime they attempt an interegnum, it sets them back because the Slpp always ends up on top. August 10th was one of the factors that brought down the Apc in the 2023 elections. That uprising created resentment for Apc in approximately 67% of the country- they became so unpopular in the South East to the extent that South east gave almost 100% of their votes to the Slpp. That unrest also emboldened Slpp supporters in Freetown to stick with their party no matter the circumstance. August 10th also gave Slpp a lot of independent voters in Freetown- in 2018, Slpp captured 39% of the presidential votes in Freetown. 2023 saw an increase in Slpp votes with President Bio winning a whopping 43%. Anytime there is a semblance of competition in Freetown, Apc will lose the general election. Apc can only be assured of a presidential victory by winning above 80% of Freetown because that can maintain a numbers equilibrium between western area, north west and south east. 
The recent coup attempt has destabilized Apc again. This is going to create a backslash between the Apc party and a lot of entities in different corners of the country
Also, food which is a major problem in Sierra Leone, is something President Bio and his Slpp have set to fix with the feed salone program. Like the free quality education program, the feed salone program will take time, but it will work. At the height of its implementation, the feed salone program is going to slowly start to reverse Sierra Leone's food crisis. 
Another thing that is  about to become a major game changer in favor of the Slpp, ,is the Lungi bridge project.  The magnitude of this project has even not been realized by many Slpp supporters. This project will be the largest infrastructure project Sierra Leone will be implementing and it is automatically going to shift opinion in Freetown in favor of President Bio and the Slpp.
In the final analysis,  the Apc has shot itself again on the foot.This coup attempt has already shattered their plans for 2028- ous tem again den go gather and put a comprehensive plan in place?
And President Bio means it....anyone the investigation leads to, will be arrested. God knows who is next to fall in the net

By Kembay Sierra Leoneans and other non citizens residents in Sierra Leone were shocked over a statements made by the ousted United States of America Ambassador, David Reimer in a local Radio broadcast on Thursday 17th August, 2023.
