Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). COUP D'ETAT, Is APC Guilty?

This question came about after witnessing the 26 November, 2023 attempted failed coup d'etat and having closely observed the unfolding claims and counter-claims between members and supporters of the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) and the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP).
Members and supporters of the ruling SLPP have accused the main opposition APC and it former Chairman and leader-cum-former President, Ernest Bai Koroma (EBK) as the masterminder of the failed coup d'etat, while members and supporters of the APC response states that the coup was a game plan by the Bio administration.
The Security Sector had initially stated that the incident was "a Breach of Security" but after days of investigations coupled with several arrests, the nomenclature of the incident change from being a _"Security Breach" to "a failed Coup d'etat"_
Also, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Rtd Maj Gen Lavahun in his mainden public address following the incident stated that there is no link of the incident to former President Koroma of the APC.
A week into the investigations, all key suspects arrested that are in Police custody including Sorie Bah, Alpha Sheriff Aka Sheriff APC, Mohamed Kodia Jalloh, Bai Mahmud Bangura, Amadu Koita and others are all stalwart members of the APC.

On the day of the incident Idriss Kamara commonly known as Leather Boot, Sorie Bah, Koita and Kabba Dumbuya, who were seen by the public as front runners of the Coup d'etat were all body guard to former President Koroma who was the Leader and Chairman of the APC. 
All these body guards had left Sierra Leone immediately after the 2018 general elections due to change of government but were in constant touch with their former Boss and the APC party. 

They are on records for always voicing out their anger and dislike for the Bio led administration, incitement and other cyber crimes.

With it members and close associates of former President Koroma nabbed, there is no way, a neutral mind can dissociate APC from the November 26, 2023 failed Coup d'etat

Evidences abound implicitly point at the party as bearing the greatest responsibility
