Breaking News‼️ PRA seals & suspend NP Brookfields Gas Station The NP petroleum station  at Brookfields, Kinghaman Road Freetown, has been sealed and license suspended for a deliberate refusal to sell to the public violating the petroleum laws of Sierra Leone.  The statuon refused to sell out fuel to the public as on the process being caught up on the  supervision by the Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA), during the investigation as to why they're refusing to sell out to the public, findings came out that they have a Suffient products as follows:  Petrol: 14,800 liters,  10,000 in BRV, 4,800 liters underground. Diesel: 2,200 liters

Kenema District Accords Red Carpet to Welcome CIO Alusine Kanneh

Kenema City Council Hall, Kenema City, Friday 13 October 2023 Thousands of Locals across the Kenema District, accorded red carpet welcome to the newly appointed Chief Immigration Officer (CIO), Hon. Alusine Kanneh expressed immeasurable appreciation to President Julius Maada Bio for appointing one of their sons in such an enviable position.

In his amazement to have seen such unprecedented gathering to welcome him in the district for the first time after his appointment, the Chief Immigration Officer Hon. Alusine Kanneh, expressed thanks and appreciation to all the locals across Kenema District for such red-carpet welcome.
Hon. Alusine Kanneh also dedicated his appointment to the people of Kenema District and assured them to serve to the best of his capacity. 

The Chief Immigration Officer expressed thanks and appreciation to President Julius Maada Bio for appointing him as the Chief Immigration Officer. He called on all locals of Kenema District to embrace peace and be united. The New CIO added that with peace and unity not only for Kenema, but for the Sierra Leone People’s Party across the country, would earn them another resounding victory in the 2028 elections.
On his Part, the Kenema District Chairman for the SLPP who also doubles as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Moriba Koroma also appreciated the people of Kenema District for the red carpet welcome they accorded to the  Chief Immigration Officer. He described the occasion as a 'true testament of love and loyalty' for the Chief Immigration Officer. He intimated that such welcome signified that the SLPP is in the best and right direction to win the 2028 elections. 
The Deputy Ministry of Internal Affairs said the party in kenema should be united and shun divisive politics. He added that peace and unity is the focus of President Bio of which everybody in the party should replicate.

The city Mayor of Kenema Thomas Bayoh also joined the bandwagon in appreciating all the locals of Kenema District for giving such a momentous welcome to the Newly appointed Chief Immigration Officer. He said the purpose of the gathering was to honestly welcome the Chief Immigration Officer, and to also show that Kenema District appreciates President Bio for appointing one of the sons. He also preached  peace and unity for the party as peace and unity is the best weapon to win the 2028 elections without run-off. 

The Women’s Leader Haja Sawanneh also joined other stakeholders in the district to show appreciation for all those who came out in the numbers to welcome Hon. Alusine Kanneh. She also expressed thanks and appreciation to President Bio for appointing Hon. Alusine Kanneh  as the Chief Immigration Officer.

The Paramount Chief of Nongowa Chiefdom Paramount Chief Sadiq Sattoe  Kapuwa, also appreciated the moves his subjects made in welcoming  the Chief Immigration Officer in his home town. He added that the welcoming ceremony was indeed a testament that indeed people appreciated the appointment of Hon. Alusine Kanneh as the Chief Immigration Officer. He also called on all and sundry to embrace peace in kenema adding that, it is only through peace that Kenema District would be developed. 
Hon. Alie Bayor, also lavished immeasurable praises on the New Chief Immigration Officer Hon. Alusine Kanneh as someone with integrity, love and respect for all and sundry. He assured the people of Kenema and Sierra Leone that the appointment of Hon. Alusine Kanneh as the Chief Immigration Officer was a laudable one adding that, Hon. Kanneh would definitely deliver  to the satisfaction  of citizens of Sierra Leone.

A scammer from Sierra Leone has been captured by Guinean police.

  The person in the picture is actually Abdulai Jalloh, despite the fact that he is identified as a lecturer from Njala University under the name of Dr. Kanu. In early January of this year, he posted in a WhatsApp group in Kambia that he had scholarship chances and could help people acquire government pin codes, among other things, but that the offer was only valid for those from the South and east.   Someone sent him NLe1,500 for overseas study without realizing he was a scammer.  The scammer claimed that the entire application process for the scholarship cost 3,000 New Leone.  Later, the contacted person realized that he was not who he had been representing himself to be, and he immediately blocked the victim of his syndicate.  He once more perpetrated the same crime against Molai, another individual, and someone else.  In the pretense of an international scholarship, he demanded 3000 New Leones from each person.
