The Slpp turn out yesterday in Freetown has worried Apc planners

And they are right to be worried

While we agree that Apc may still command the  majority in Freetown, there is a developing scenario that has revealed that Slpp too has come into Freetown, established itself and amassed hundreds of thousands of supporters. Slpp's national reach policy has spilled into Freetown where people from all backgrounds are now identifying themselves with the party . This has catapulted the Slpp to a position where it now commands a huge support in capital city.
Yesterday, close to a 100 thousand Slpp supporters came out and  were not all over the streets because the Slpp decided to abide by PRRC's rules and regulations of no street rallies . Another driving force behind this massive Slpp support in Freetown is due to President  Bio's constructive governance policies in education  ,infrastructure, healthcare and fight against corruption.
Many contributions to our political conversation have long  since agreed and developed a school of thought that for Apc to win the general election, they have to completely blow out Slpp in Freetown by winning 90% or above.
But here we are .Slpp and Apc are now experiencing some level of competition in the city based on what happened yesterday. Many of the grassroot Apc supporters are not aware of how their party planners are worried at the moment. Apc party election planners know that for Apc to win this election,Slpp should not do well in Freetown
This is the same disaster that met Apc in 2018 when Slpp won 40% of the capital city. While Slpp will love to win the city, they do not need to win it as a requirement to win the general election. Slpp only needs to do well.
This time around also , something interesting is going to play out as it has been  observed that Slpp and Apc are now at a statistical dead heat in a number of local council elections including the Mayor's seat.

In a nutshell shell, we do agree that Apc may still have majority in Freetown . But what we want our readers to understand is that there is  some level of competition between them and Slpp and such a scenario immediately disadvantages the Apc in any general election.

Dr. John Idriss Lahai, the whistle-blower for fake degrees is "Social Medially dead". If you recall, in the year 2022, Dr. John Idriss Lahai, a whistle-blower who exposed a phony degree, attracted the attention of every patriotic Sierra Leonean. His activity came to light after it was found that numerous Sierra Leoneans had received honorary PhDs from a Waterloo, Western Rural District postsecondary institution that was not accredited. Even well-known Sierra Leoneans, including the previous Inspector General of Police, were given honorary PhDs by the university known as Dominion University. When it was determined that the aforementioned university lacks the integrity to grant such a credential, the IG subsequently declined the offer. A scammer from Sierra Leone has been captured by Guinean police.

The person in the picture is actually Abdulai Jalloh, despite the fact that he is identified as a lecturer from Njala University under the name of Dr. Kanu. In early January of this year, he posted in a WhatsApp group in Kambia that he had scholarship chances and could help people acquire government pin codes, among other things, but that the offer was only valid for those from the South and east.   Someone sent him NLe1,500 for overseas study without realizing he was a scammer.  The scammer claimed that the entire application process for the scholarship cost 3,000 New Leone.  Later, the contacted person realized that he was not who he had been representing himself to be, and he immediately blocked the victim of his syndicate.  He once more perpetrated the same crime against Molai, another individual, and someone else.  In the pretense of an international scholarship, he demanded 3000 New Leones from each person. He accepted the cash and fled without telling them where he was.  The m
