Of recent, there has been growing concern by young people in Sierra Leone to have a say in the affairs and governance of their country.

While the majority of the youths chose to take to the streets, like taking drugs, and violence against their future, others choose the path of music and advocacy for the common good of society.

In the Northern part of Sierra Leone, Abdul Benjamin Koroma whose stage name is ( A B K the Inspirational) is a young activist who sings music of inspirational quotes mainly on good governance, democracy and human rights.

The young activist is the chairman of Help Save Lives, a community-based organization that is advocating for children in the Northern province, and he's also the Founder and CEO of the Young Lives Foundation Movement (YLFM).

Born in Tane Chiefdom, Tonkolili  District, ABK  believes in equality and justice in every aspect of humanity.

In his first song titled "Democracy",  ABK emphasises the need for peace in the country and how everyone must work for the betterment of the nation. Having challenges in so many ways, the young singer is calling on like-minded Sierra Leoneans for support.

He recently releases three vocal videos with motivational words to the nation before the song on the 25th of April 2023.

Though he sings the music for a while, he just patiently waits until the right time when both politician and the people speak together.

The person in the picture is actually Abdulai Jalloh, despite the fact that he is identified as a lecturer from Njala University under the name of Dr. Kanu. In early January of this year, he posted in a WhatsApp group in Kambia that he had scholarship chances and could help people acquire government pin codes, among other things, but that the offer was only valid for those from the South and east.   Someone sent him NLe1,500 for overseas study without realizing he was a scammer.  The scammer claimed that the entire application process for the scholarship cost 3,000 New Leone.  Later, the contacted person realized that he was not who he had been representing himself to be, and he immediately blocked the victim of his syndicate.  He once more perpetrated the same crime against Molai, another individual, and someone else.  In the pretense of an international scholarship, he demanded 3000 New Leones from each person. He accepted the cash and fled without telling them where he was.  The m
