Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The APC Establishes an Interim Election Management Committee



APC Inaugurates Interim Election Management Committee Ahead of Lower Level Elections.

Sierra Leone's main opposition party, the All People's Congress (APC), inaugurated The Interim Independent Elections Management Committee (TIIEMC) today, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, ahead of their lower level elections.
The 25-man Committee is in charge of conducting the Party's lower level elections.

By the end of this period, the APC's 21-man Interim Transitional Governance Committee (ITGC) is expected to have completed the party's internal lower-level selections and National Delegates Convention (NDC) to elect new national executive officers and the party's presidential candidate for 2023. The Chairman of the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) set a deadline of 24 January 2023 for the party to complete all internal lower-level elections.

By Kembay Sierra Leoneans and other non citizens residents in Sierra Leone were shocked over a statements made by the ousted United States of America Ambassador, David Reimer in a local Radio broadcast on Thursday 17th August, 2023.
