According to Foreign Minister Prof David Francis, who updated the international community with evidences of videos and pictures, yesterday's unfortunate incident was well orchestrated, planned, and financed to disrupt the peace of the country and shouting Maad Bio must go with weapons, and thus that is never a peaceful protest.
Prof Francis told the international community that the unlawful and destructive protests that resulted in the deaths of civilians and police officers occurred in opposition strongholds in Freetown's east end and the country's north. He went on to say that the APC is behind all of the unrests, citing evidence of premeditated statements, audios, and incitements from APC members to incite tension and civil unrest in order to call for the removal of a democratically elected government.
