Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). APC rebels attacked JMB statue in Port Loko


Terrorists from the APC attacked the statue of President Julius Maada Bio on Hospital Road in the Central Port Loko District.

The All People's Congress (APC) protesters in Port Loko toppled a legitimate government on August 10, 2022, by breaking out the statue of His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio, spraying insults, and threatening "war" if security personnel tried to stop them.. 

In addition, the protesters intend to demolish social infrastructure that President Julius Maada Bio recently worked tirelessly to build for the residents of Port Loko District.

The head of President Bio's statue, which was constructed by Azick M. Conteh, Deputy Regional Chairman of the Northwest Region, was removed during the demonstration before it descended into violence, and it was displayed in front of a police patrol car. That protest clearly poses a threat to the lives of the country's president, the people, and Sierra Leone People's Party supporters (SLPP).

In the photo, Councillor Tinkla is identified as the main suspect for punching the protesters. The suspect councillor should be located by authorities in Port Loko District.
