Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). " Population Shift"NEC Boss meets with President Bio about boundary delimitation.


His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and Chief Electoral Commissioner Mohamed Kenewui Konneh both made statements at an event held at the President's Office on July 21st, 2022.

Mr. Konneh informs the country of a "population shift" in his statement, and that the 2023 General Elections will be held within that shifted population.

Konneh stated that the "shift in population" was reflected in the recent 2021 Census, which he claims will now serve as a baseline for brand new Constituencies to be drawn to re-demarcate the country's shifted population.

H.E. Julius Maada Bio spoke about "boundary delimitation in accordance with constitutional provisions" and promises "the best outcomes for Sierra Leoneans."

Those Unimpressive Words From the Outgone US Ambassador, David Reimer. By Kembay Sierra Leoneans and other non citizens residents in Sierra Leone were shocked over a statements made by the ousted United States of America Ambassador, David Reimer in a local Radio broadcast on Thursday 17th August, 2023.
