In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). POLICE IN KAMAKWIE TOGETHER WITH ONS, ACC RAIDED SIERRA LEONE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD KAMAKWIE (SLMB) AND ARRESTED THE PRINCIPAL, SIX TEACHERS AND SIX WASSEC CANDIDATES FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS MALPRACTICES.

LUC Kamakwie Division
On the 9th of June 2022, following a tipoff that SLMB Kamakwie is organising a criminal syndicate wherein candidates were placed in a special room and teachers were writing the exams on their behalf. Upon receipt of this information a team of SLP personnel headed by the LUC Kamakwie Division together with ONS and ACC Kamakwie raided the Islamic Secondary School which is one of the centers in the ongoing west Africa Senior Secondary School with center number: 6021510.
On arrival at the school the team met six candidates and six teachers all of them were locked inside one of the offices writing the English language exam. It is important to note that they were caught writing the exams after two hours when the actual examination has ended and all the other candidates had already gone home.
The six (6) candidates include: Mariama Conteh ID 056, Mary Nyademoh ID 320, Foday Kamara ID 126, Osman T Koroma ID 225, Emma Bangura ID 015, Abdul Conteh ID 217.
Also, two(2) invigilators were arrested who were locked inside the special room together with the six (6) candidates aiding this illegal activity. They include; Amara H Bangura and Yusif M Jalloh.
All suspects are currently helping the police with investigation.
