Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). THE OLD SCHOOL LEGENDARY, BASE APHONYX AND OTHEOTHERSR REACT TO THE SIERRA LEONE MUSIC INDUSTRY'S CURRENT STATE.

Many opinions have emerged from the old school artists following the fund raising concept that was organized to aid Vida, a Sierra Leonean female musician, pay her medical fees.

When the concert was suggested, there was a rumored confrontation between a government-appointed official named Kao Denero as the Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment and the concert organizers. Kao Denero is another member of the old school.

A well-known musician named Aklass commented, and when carefully analyzed, his classical remark suggested that the industrial isn't going as planned, and that everyone should go back to the drawing board.

Another notable remark has been made by  Base Aphonyx, one of Sierra Leone's finest old school musicians and one of the few Sierra Leonean artists that everyone will want to mimic. He stated,

Those Unimpressive Words From the Outgone US Ambassador, David Reimer. By Kembay Sierra Leoneans and other non citizens residents in Sierra Leone were shocked over a statements made by the ousted United States of America Ambassador, David Reimer in a local Radio broadcast on Thursday 17th August, 2023.
