MASTER STUDENTS AT THE ERNEST BAI KOROMA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ARE EXPELED FOR HOLDING A REQUIREMENT TO ENTER THE COURSE WITH FROM A FAKE UNIVERSITY, AGU.

Professor Dr Edwin Momoh, the EBKUST's vice Chancellor and principal, has removed acceptance letters from students who applied for a Masters degree at the EBKUST using certificates from the African Graduates University, which has been ruled a Fake academic institution.

As a form of punishment, the students will forfeit all fees already paid for knowingly using a fake degree to gain access to the EBKUST.

Dr. John Idriss Lahai, a well-known fake degree whistle-blower, discovered the students involved in the aforementioned saga. Even while I don't agree with all of his techniques for exposing these undeserved certifications, particularly when he tries to link the fake degree issue to the current administration, which may make it appear like everyone or a majority of individuals working for the New Direction have phony degrees. But his efforts are commendable if they are motivated by selflessness.
The following is a message he posted on his Facebook page urging EBKUST's principal to revoke the three defaulters' admittance letters.

"To the Ernest BaI Koroma University of Science and Technology (EBKUST) administration.

For God’s sake, terminate the enrolment of the three masters students with AGU qualifications. They are still attending classes (as of yesterday) even after the TEC informed you that all degrees from the AGU are fake and should not be used in Sierra Leone!
It is no secret that the corruption within your University Registrar’s office is entrenched! You guys are not helping our country. You make me wanna throw up 🤮
You have until Sunday (less than 3 days) to comply. Failure to do that, I will not only call out the names of these students on Monday, I will also expose the names of the top Government Officials who bribed to get them admitted. And the people within your university who acted as middlemen.

No second option! We will (and must) develop our country - using highly skilled and adequately trained people. Enough of the failures; enough with the trends of underdevelopment. We have what it takes to beat Ghana and Nigeria in the race to become a high income country in West Africa! To do that, we must put an end to fake degrees, and the institutions of government cushioning the activities of fake degree granting institutions must be named and shamed. We must remove all fake degree holders - replace them with with people with legitimate, genuine and hard earned qualifications. Let us make it impossible for fake degree holders to access our labour market and workforce!!

Withdraw their acceptance now!!!

Dr. John Idriss Lahai, the whistle-blower for fake degrees is "Social Medially dead". If you recall, in the year 2022, Dr. John Idriss Lahai, a whistle-blower who exposed a phony degree, attracted the attention of every patriotic Sierra Leonean. His activity came to light after it was found that numerous Sierra Leoneans had received honorary PhDs from a Waterloo, Western Rural District postsecondary institution that was not accredited. Even well-known Sierra Leoneans, including the previous Inspector General of Police, were given honorary PhDs by the university known as Dominion University. When it was determined that the aforementioned university lacks the integrity to grant such a credential, the IG subsequently declined the offer. Dominion University PHD award ceremony From this point on, Dr. John Idriss Lahai began to expose Sierra Leoneans who, in his opinion, had earned questionable academic credentials. He then began to draw attention from people from all

A scammer from Sierra Leone has been captured by Guinean police.

The person in the picture is actually Abdulai Jalloh, despite the fact that he is identified as a lecturer from Njala University under the name of Dr. Kanu. In early January of this year, he posted in a WhatsApp group in Kambia that he had scholarship chances and could help people acquire government pin codes, among other things, but that the offer was only valid for those from the South and east.   Someone sent him NLe1,500 for overseas study without realizing he was a scammer.  The scammer claimed that the entire application process for the scholarship cost 3,000 New Leone.  Later, the contacted person realized that he was not who he had been representing himself to be, and he immediately blocked the victim of his syndicate.  He once more perpetrated the same crime against Molai, another individual, and someone else.  In the pretense of an international scholarship, he demanded 3000 New Leones from each person. He accepted the cash and fled without telling them where he was.  The m
