Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Sierra Leone's youth minister met with the UN's envoy on youths.

The Youth Minister of Sierra Leone, Mohamed O. Bangura had according to him had a productive conversation with Her Excellency Jayathma Wickramanayake, the United Nations Secretary General's envoy on youths. 
"It’s been an honor to have such a detailed, cordial and productive conversation with my friend and ally, the United Nations Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth, Her Excellency Jayathma Wickramanayake during my official mission to New York, USA. We discussed the progress we continue to make in the implementation of the UN 2030 Youth Strategy and the strides President Bio’s government is making to advance the human capital of our youth in #SierraLeone. We committed to even more collaboration between our offices for the development of the youth of Sierra Leone and Africa"

Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh Engages World Leaders on President Bio’s Big-5 Agenda on the Margins of The World Government Summit On the margins of the World Government Summit, Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh met with HE Mohamed Bin Taliah, the Chief of Government Services at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in United Arab Emirates. The two leaders discussed service delivery across their respective governments and agreed to collaborate in ways that will improve public services through digitalization. HE Taliah also expressed interest in supporting Sierra Leone in reforming the public sector and in the digitisation of Sierra Leone’s Justice sector. By Kembay Sierra Leoneans and other non citizens residents in Sierra Leone were shocked over a statements made by the ousted United States of America Ambassador, David Reimer in a local Radio broadcast on Thursday 17th August, 2023. The ousted US Ambassador statements which all listeners viewed as adding insult to injury came at a time the country is still grappling with it political and economic stalemate just after the June 24 2023 general elections.  Ambassador Reimer statements in that broadcast exposed him of putting personal sentiments above diplomatic protocols in adherence to sovereignty.  Where in the world has Reimer seeing the opposition accepting defeat or has he forgotten that as we speak, Donald Trump is yet to accept the victory of Joe Biden in the 2020 US elections over allegations of irregularities?
