Turkish Ambassador Pays Follow-up visit to IGP on PIKM Regulation By Kembay Police Headquarters George Street Freetown, Wednesday 28th February, 2024 Her Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Madam Sibel Erkan has visited the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. William Fayia Sellu to know the SLP stands on the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM), ahead of the 5-6 May and 15-17 July, 2024 OIC meetings in Banju and Yaounde respectively.  In her presentations, Her Excellency Madam Erkan discloses that, her visit was to know if the SLP is interested in being part of the Police Coordination and Cooperation Center (PIKM) establishment following the 13th Summit  heads of States and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Blackhall Road bypass to be completed soon

The long-awaited Blackhall Road bypass road, which was built to relieve traffic congestion in Freetown's east, is set to be completed very soon.
The road project, which began under the Kabba-led SLPP government and construction work that began under Ernest Bai Koroma's administration, is expected to be completed soon by the Julius Maada Bio New Direction government.
Government, as the saying goes, is continuity, but to be honest, the SLPP government has always been in charge of laying concrete foundations for development in Sierra Leone.
Whatever the case may be, we hope that the said road construction will be completed this year, allowing residents of the East side of the Freetown municipality to commute more easily.

By Kembay Sierra Leoneans and other non citizens residents in Sierra Leone were shocked over a statements made by the ousted United States of America Ambassador, David Reimer in a local Radio broadcast on Thursday 17th August, 2023.
