On Wednesday 24th August, 2022 at 1245 hrs PC Bai Shebora Thelleh the 3rd of Mile 91 arrived in my office and intimated me that there is a stranger apparently hiding in a village called Rokoron with whom he was not satisfied.
Having elicited detailed description of the said stranger from the chief, I swiftly mobilized a joint team of OSD, IIS, and CID personnel and instructed them to go for the fugitive.
He was located and arrested.
Upon arrival in my office, I interrogated suspect in depth against the backdrop of the suspicion that he could be one of the WANTED personsand that he went and hid himself in that village in order to evade the wrath of the law.
He indeed admitted parts of the allegations I put to him.
For instance, he stated that he was carrying a placard on the 10th of August, 2022 which read: FUEL PRICE must go down.
He further admitted that on that fateful day he was among the group that went to Waterloo Police Station.
He is Mohamed Jambah Bangura of 10 Fullah street, Lumpa, Waterloo.
