The National Telecommunication Commission (NATCOM) has placed three senior employees on leave while the investigation into the suspected forgery of academic certificates continues.
At The NATCOM Executive Management Committee meeting held on Monday 9th May 2022, the following were resolved:
In view of the Director of Admin, and HR's name being all over social media, he should step aside while the certificate verification audit continues.
All Africa Graduate University (AGU) and Dominion University certificate holders should step aside pending investigations.
All personnel who do not have certificates in their files are mandated to make their certificate(s) available on or before Wednesday 11th May 2022; otherwise, they should step aside.
Director of Internal Audit and Risk Management to continue the certificate
verification and audit for staff at Manager level and below, while the Board does same for Senior Management.
Names of staff suspended are as follow:
1. Adeyemi Leroy Coker, an AGU graduate and a senior Administration Officer, NATCOM
2. NATCOM’s Commissioner Robert Kondema Kargbo
3. Braima Ronnie Kargbo, NATCOM’s Director of Administration and Director of Human Resource Management
