FORMER APC MINISTER SENT TO PRISON ON REMAND.

Last week, the Criminal Investigation Department summoned the APC's former Minister of Works, Hon. Kemoh Sesay, for an allegation of cyber bullying. The matter was charged to court after the police inquiry, and rumor has it that he has been sent to prison on remand.

Furthermore, his alleged Cyber Bullying Charge is most likely connected to what he said in this video.

Magistrate Kekura Remands Kemoh Sesay In Custody

Judiciary of Sierra Leone Communications, Pademba Road Court No. 1 in Freetown, 5th May, 2022: Principal Magistrate, His Worship Magistrate Sahr E. Kekura has remanded in custody Hon. Kemoh Sesay, former Minister of Transport and Aviation in the erstwhile Government.

The former Minister was brought before the Court to answer to one Count of Cyber Stalking and Bullying contrary to Section 44 (2) (b) of the Cyber Security and Crime Act of 2021.

According to the particulars of offence, Hon. Kemoh Sesay between March and April 2022, through social media, via WhatsApp, in Port Loko District, Bakeloko Chiefdom in the Northern Province of the Republic of Sierra Leone, did wilfully and repeatedly communicate directly to the President, His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio in a manner that he knows to be false, for the purpose of causing danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred, ill will or needless anxiety to His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio or causes such a message to be sent.

Accused Hon. Kemoh Sesay has been detained at the Pademba Road male Correctional centers. The matter comes up on Monday, 9th May, 2022.

Dr John Lahai drops a real clanger...lecturers react
